Jonathan Parker D.O., M.S., FAAFP, DABOM
Dr. Jonathan Parker has been practicing in Muscle Shoals since 2014. He received a B.S. in biology and a B.A. in philosophy from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and completed a M.S. in biomedical sciences (clinical research) from A.T. Still University. He received his medical degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in family medicine at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where he also served as chief resident. He is board certified by the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Both a graduate of the esteemed Blackburn Obesity Course at Harvard Medical School and SCOPE certified by World Obesity Federation, Dr. Parker has also completed extra training in obesity medicine. He is a proud member of the Obesity Medicine Association and The Obesity Society.
Dr. Parker is dedicated to serving his patients with both excellent and compassionate care. He currently resides in Tuscumbia with his wife Laura and their three children Hudson, Evie, and Mariella. He is a member of First Presbyterian Church in Tuscumbia, Alabama.

Kelly Britnell CRNP
Kelly Britnell is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with an additional advanced certification in obesity medicine by the Obesity Medicine Association. She joined Dr. Parker in 2017. She graduated from Columbia State Community College with an AAS degree, obtained her ADN from Northwest-Shoals Community College and then began pursuing her BSN at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Kelly has a diverse nursing background as she specialized in geriatric psych, medical-surgical, and intensive care. While working full time, Kelly obtained her MSN from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Kelly is a member of Mount Hope Baptist Church.
In her spare time she enjoys traveling, singing, spending time with her family, and being outdoors on her farm with her husband Kenley.
Jordan Weaver CRNP
Jordan Weaver is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with an additional advanced certification in obesity medicine by the Obesity Medicine Association. She began her nursing career in 2010. She joined Dr. Parker and Parker Medical Weight Loss in 2018, where she specializes in primary care across the lifespan as well as obesity medicine. Jordan received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. After gaining experience as a registered nurse, she furthered her education, receiving her Master of Science in Nursing in 2016 from South University in Montgomery, AL. Her previous experience includes work in medical surgical nursing, home health and hospice as well as family practice. Jordan was raised in Sheffield, AL where she also currently resides with her husband Austin and their son Brookman. In her spare time, she enjoys being with friends and family. She is dedicated to building relationships with her patients as she helps them achieve their health and weight loss goals.
Brian Davenport CRNP
Brian Davenport is a board-certified Family Nurse Practioner with an advanced certification in obesity medicine by the Obesity Medicine Association. He began his nursing career in 2014. He joined Dr. Parker in 2019 where he specializes in primary care along with obesity medicine. Brian received his ADN from Northwest-Shoals Community College and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama. After gaining experience as a Registered Nurse on a medical unit, he furthered his education by earning a Master of Science in Nursing from Troy University. Brian currently resides in Leighton, AL with his wife Taylor. He is a member of Leighton Baptist Church and loves spending time with family. In his spare time, he and his wife enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors. Brian is a dedicated advocate for his patients and is committed to helping them achieve their goals.
